Privacy Policy

Eduversity ("we") operates the Eduversity education suite — uni.sd, edu.uni.sd, sis.uni.sd, and fin.uni.sd — for schools and universities. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email address, role, and — where a user opts in — a phone/WhatsApp number and Telegram account, used only for the notifications described below.
• Academic data: courses, enrolments, submissions, grades, and attendance, processed on behalf of the school that owns them.
• Technical data: login timestamps and IP addresses, kept for security and audit.

How we use it

• To operate the platform: accounts, courses, grading, records.
• To send transactional notifications only — result releases, account emails (verification, password reset), and support replies. Users opt in to Telegram/WhatsApp notices explicitly in their profile and can opt out at any time. We do not send marketing messages.
• To secure the service: audit logs, fraud and abuse prevention.

Processors we rely on

Email delivery (Resend), messaging delivery (Telegram; WhatsApp via Twilio), and AI-assisted help answers (Anthropic). Each receives only the minimum data needed to deliver its function. We do not sell personal data.

Retention & your rights

Academic records are retained per the owning institution's policy. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data through your institution or at info@uni.sd.
